How BankPricer works — talk first, then apply

You found BankPricer while hunting a payment, a Loan Estimate check, or a second opinion on a quote you already have. Fair. The site has tools. The harder question is what happens if you actually talk to someone.

BankPricer is not a lead-resale shop. Your name is not inventory. When you reach out, you talk with Jeff. He originates from Chicago with Barrett Financial Group, L.L.C. NMLS 1041652. That is first-party on purpose.

Organize, then compare, then verify

Most people arrive with pieces. A listing price. A lender form. Maybe a payment someone floated in a text thread. The site helps you put those next to each other before anyone files an application.

Use the mortgage calculator when you need a payment scenario. Use Rate Watch when you need the public signals Jeff watches for lock-or-float talk. Bring the Loan Estimate or quote you already have. Do not upload to /leah/ today. That door is broken. Bring the PDF or printout to the call instead.

Organize means the numbers sit in one place. Compare means you see where two scenarios disagree. Verify means Jeff reads the file with you and says what is real for your credit, occupancy, loan size, and property — not what a headline claimed.

Talk first. Apply second.

Apply-now is a commitment path. A conversation is cheaper and cleaner when the question is still “does this payment work” or “is this Loan Estimate off.”

Jeff will tell you if he cannot originate the property. He will not pretend a calculator result is a lock. He will not invent a BankPricer rate in a blog post either. Pricing still depends on the file.

If the conversation says the deal is wrong, you walk. If it says the deal is close, you decide whether to apply. That order is the product.

What this post is not

It is not an ad for a marketplace. It is not a promise that someone emails you when rates move. Nobody emails you a schedule from this page.

It is also not a rate sheet. If you need a number, run a scenario on the calculator with a quote you already have, or ask Jeff on the call.

Next step

One ask: get a second opinion before you apply.

Use Get In Touch. Bring the close date if you have one, the Loan Estimate or quote if you have one, and the payment that still has to work.
